The DTES NH supports the efforts of the DTES Neighbourhood Council to create a permanent DTES Flea Market. As of September 2010 they host a Sunday Market at Pigeon Park and we hope to soon applaud its expansion to a daily operation.
Inspired by our binning neighbours – whom we herald as champions of recycling – we look forward to seeing both binners and street based artists accorded the dignity of tables from which to sell their wares.
