DTES NH Volunteers work during/after daytime programming hours by lending their talents to one or more of the following:
- Embracing our Food Philosophy
- Creating & distributing posters & handbills community wide
- Participating in weekly food preparation
- Providing administrative support [filing, photocopying, etc]
- Seasonal Cleaning Sprees
- Assembling the monthly NH Programming Schedule
- Accompanying DTES NH staff on the monthly, blender based Roving Community Kitchen
- Having an inherent sense of beauty and fun
- … among other tasks
Specific volunteer positions available (among others):
- Handy Person
- Film Club Facilitators
- Right to Food Volunteers
- Arts and Music Facilitators
- Youth Programming Facilitators
