Friends of the DTES NH support the NH behind the scenes by doing one or more of the following:
- Using their vehicle to pick up NH items across the city
- Applying their talents in music, art, languages, nutrition etc by co-Facilitating a Workshop
- Having an inherent sense of beauty and fun
- Constructing Outcome Measurement Frameworks from the content we provide
- Supplementing our pool of Volunteers at special events [Fundraising events, Splendour in the Night, All Candidate Meetings etc]
- Sourcing NH directed donations of quality food and program supplies
- Perfecting our database et al
- Introducing to potential new Friends of the DTES NH to our work
- Supporting our Board of Directors in various Working Groups
- Researching funding sources
- … among other tasks
